Hi there I've recently purchased an IPhone SE and wanted to get into exploring using google maps, and possibly running around my local parks, however the GPS is acting very strange it make massive jumps in the correct direction and then looses signal and then can't determine where I am.
I've reset the phone and turned off location services, I've tried nearly anything any advice?

Yeah outside I know that tree's and all sorts can cause a problem but when I see other people with IPhone's working just fine, I'm just wondering if its my provider and not the phone itself. And thank you for replying back any advice is helpful 🙂
Your provider has nothing to do with your GPS, it is a receiver that gets its signal from government satellites. Your provider would provide you with data that would generate the maps.
If you believe there is a problem with the GPS, then you can try a reset on the phone, and if necessary, a restore. If that does not help, then you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store to have it checked.
Oh right ok thank you I thought perhaps my provider may have had issues and that may have been the reason why my phone's GPS was playing up. And thank you for the comment I do appreciate it. 🙂
